The Executive Director reports to the Board of Directors, works in collaboration with the Guiding Teacher & the Board, and directs the Deputy Director, Volunteers and Consultants to ensure that the organization continually realizes its mission and vision. Areas of responsibility include Administration & Finances, Fundraising & Development, Strategic Planning, Support of Teachers, Coordination of the Board of Directors, Programs & Management of the Center, and Internal/External Communications.
This is a full-time paid position starting mid-May 2015.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
* Deep dharma study and practice including a grounding in the Theravada tradition
* Extensive experience in administration, some in the non-profit sector
* Experience as a leader of a dedicated team of professionals
